He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, New York Society of Physician Assistants, Dr. Seeds Scientific Research and Performance Institute, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and the International Peptide Society.
Jamie has a wealth of experience working with patients from all walks of life. He has worked with the New York Jets in the NFL and the New York Saints, a professional lacrosse team. He has also treated hundreds of tennis professionals and was asked to join as a medical assistant for the Israeli Davis Cup. His travels to over 17 different countries and half of the United States have given him a unique perspective on patient care.

Dr. David Shafer
MD, FACS
Dr. David Shafer, MD, FACS, is a highly acclaimed double board-certified celebrity plastic surgeon at the Shafer Clinic where he co-founded the Metabolic Aesthetics™ center, +advitam® in Midtown Manhattan, New York. Dr. Shafer has a proven track record of combining surgical and nonsurgical procedures to deliver exceptional outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Shafer earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan before pursuing his doctorate in medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He completed his medical training in general surgery at the Arizona Burn Center and gained international attention for his research in surgical techniques and wound healing, which refined the standards for patient care today.
Dr. Shafer also received extensive training in plastic surgery at the Mayo Clinic and the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. He has participated in the World Health Organization’s campaign for cleft lip and palate repair in Hanoi, Vietnam, which broadened his experience of patient experiences.
